I had the extreme fortune of hiring Govinda to be my guide on a trek I did in the fall of 2022. I cannot imagine having had a better guide than Govinda.

Govinda speaks and understands English very well and we had no problems communicating and he helped me communicate with locals. He is a wonderful person who isvery friendly and helpful with everyone. He iseasy going and we got along great. He was always available to answer questions or have a chat. He is extremely conscientious andconstantly ensured I had everything I needed and watched out for my safety.

Govinda posses excellent knowledge of the trails in the Annapurna region, the people who live there and their way of life and he was always happy to share all he knew. He helped me change the route I had planned so that I could visit several other wonderfulplaces he knew I would like and still see everything I wanted to.

Govinda knows the best hotels and the people who run them and that was very helpful. One day he took the initiative to call ahead and make a reservation at a village we’d be visiting the next day because he knew would be crowded.If not for his forethought I would have slept in less-than-ideal accommodations.

This was far and away the best trek I've ever had and likelyever will have untilI trek with Govinda again.
