There is not a better guide than Ismail. His communication before the tour was outstanding and he drove all the way from Petra to Aqaba to pick us up (2 hour drive) just to start the tour. He made sure we were comfortable in his car and was so kind to my husband and my 7 year old son. When we got to Petra we knew he was in his element. He grew up in the area and knew so many interesting details about the water system and theories of history. All of the local Bedouin workers knew him and told us we have the best guide. We absolutely agree. You will not be disappointed, I can honestly say it was one of the best days of our life seeing this amazing site with Ismail. In total we spent 9 hours together and we had the best time and learned so much!

Ismail is the BEST guide ever. More than a guide, he actually became a true friend to us. He is very kind, speaks fluent English and makes all efforts to make his guests feel good and safe at all times. My girlfriend and I stayed in Jordan for 4 days and he has been absolutely amazing to us. We booked a full Jordan tour with him, including Petra, Wadi Rum Desert, Dead Sea and Amman. He is a very experienced guide and knows everything about Petra and Jordan history. He picked us up at the airport on our first day and stayed with us at all times until the moment we left. The experience with him was priceless. He always suggests the best places to eat and buy souvenirs, which are often the less touristic ones (and takes the BEST pictures). If you are looking for a very flexible and friendly guide that can be trusted with your eyes closed, you should choose Ismail right away. We already miss him a lot!

Me and my boyfriend traveled to Jordan and we wanted a person who could be our private guide and driver, so we found Ismail! He was absolutely perfect. He accompanied us at all times, from the arrival at the airport until the time to leave. We only had 3 full days, but we managed to think of a great itinerary that included Petra, Wadi Rum, the Dead Sea and Amman. Ismail drove to all the locations and gave us a history lesson on each one. He was very patient and didactic, you can see that his knowledge about the places is enormous! Consequently, we had unforgettable moments. Ismail is friendly, kind and caring. This makes all the difference for a guide (and we've been through several private guides) and makes it the best of all. I highly recommend this choice! I hope everyone has the same wonderful experience I had. It's not easy to find just one person who is a licensed guide and driver at the same time, so we were lucky to find him.

My friends and I had a brilliant 2 day tour of Petra with Ismail. We wanted to break this into 2 half days due to our time of arrival on day 1 but also as one of my friends was pregnant and so to break up the tour. Ismail was fantastic at arranging a flexible itinerary for us to suit the weather and time of day. He was very knowledgeable and it was definitely worth having him as a guide and learning more about the area and what we were seeing. Would recommend! 

Had a last minute trip to Petra, contacted Ismail (PetraAndBeyond tours) the night before. He was able to accommodate and we worked out the details and voila we had a great experience! Excellent communication and English, a local's knowledge of Petra (he and his family live there). Good organization and pace of the tour. He ensured we were on time to end the tour as we had a commitment afterwards.
