Memorable travels in Kolkata
Reviewed January 17, 2022
Just before the world went into lockdown, I happened to spend four amazing days in in February 2020 in Kolkata (Calcutta). Happily for me, Debasree Saha was the guide assigned to me. Ms. Saha made the city's history come alive for me, she showed me some unforgettable sights, and was very responsive to my personal interests and preferences. Knowing I'm a cinephile, she took me to the restored Currency Exchange Building that had just opened to the public. I feasted my senses on its exhibit devoted to Calcutta's world-renowned maestro of Cinema, Satyajit Ray. Likewise, she worked in a trip to Mother Teresa's home, so I could see the place out of which one of the greatest philanthropists operated. My passion is photography, and Ms. Saha indulged me to the fullest in my quest for memorable photographs of a most memorable city, replete with history, architecture, culture, and colours. I cannot recommend Ms. Saha's services more highly.
