This is my second time traveling with Egypt Best Vacations on an 11-day tour. This time as a solo visitor with a personalised itinerary starting at pick up at Hurghada Airport to Luxor for the first leg of the tour with a driver and amazing knowledgeable tour guide Essam. I was able to visit areas I had not visited before: Hurghada and Sohag Museums a particular highlight. I was never rushed and was given ample time to soak in the history and architecture at the temples and tombs.

Suitable accommodation was arranged by Egypt Best Vacations for a solo female, with both the guide and driver ensuring I was well fed, comfortable and safe. I particularly valued that both Essam and our driver Mustafa ensured that all my needs were met. Day 1: I was picked up at Hurghada Airport and checked into my room. Day 2: A visit to the Hurghada Museum, then driven to Assiut, with accommodation on a Nile Cruise Boat. Day 3: Drove from Assiut to visit the tombs of Meir and Al Muharaq Monastery in El-Qusia, then a drive to Sohag with a visit to the White Monastery. Day 4: A visit to Sohag Museum and on to Akhamim and the Temple of Merit Amun. Then driven to Abydos to visit the Temple of Seti I, with a stay overnight at Abydos. Day 5: Drove from Abydos to visit Dendera Temple and then drove to Luxor to stay at the Eatab hotel. Highlights for the second part of the tour included the opportunity to walk the whole length of the newly opened Rams Avenue all the way from Karnak to Luxor Temple and visiting some of the less visited temples and tombs. Day 6: Visit Karnak and Luxor temples. Day 7: Dier Shaliut, Malkata, and Qasr Agwza. Day 8: Visit Esna, Kab, Silsilah then to Aswan. Day 9: Isis new temple, and Kalabsha, then back to Luxor. Day 10: Luxor west bank tombs Day 11: Transfer to Hurghada Airport. I cannot fault the team at ‘Egypt Best Vacations’ and will certainly book with them again in the future.
