We enjoyed our trip to Bhubaneswar and Puri with Tapan Mishra as our guide. He made excellent arrangements for transport and sightseeing, and was a fund of interesting information on local history and culture. With fluent English, he was able to communicate with our group, most of who live abroad. He was also unfailingly polite and helpful, and really made our visit a memorable one.

I had one day in my schedule to see the Konark temple and Bhubaneshwar so I booked Tapan as my guide. A few days before our scheduled tour he reached out to make final arragements. I realised that I had only booked him and he did not come with a vehicle (it was my misunderstanding). However Tapan very quickly arranged a driver and vehicle for us to use. He arrived promptly at my hotel at the time we arranged and we began our tour. From the start Tapan was warm and friendly. When we got to the first POI he arranged the tickets and handled our entry. He gave me a indepth tour of the Konark temple which he has so much knoweledge on. We then moved on to Bhubaneshwar where we had a lovely lunch together before moving onto other temples which he also took great time in showing me and explainging the different aspects of the architecture and history . I had one of the best days of my holiday and it was a such a pleasure sharing it with Tapan. I highly recommend him to anyone wanting to explore Puri and Bhubaneshwar which are absolute hidden gems in India. Thank you for a very memorable day Tapan.
