Carlos is a very nice and enthusiastic guide! He showed is around in Salvador, told us about the history and culture, very interesting! Overall An enriching experience!

Apart from the usual basic things you expect from a guide: knowledge, friendliness, and professionalism  Carlos went way beyond... recommending restaurants, hotels for our next stay and also focused the tour on what we were looking for, local art/artist. He also assisted us with negotiation and paperwork (to ship the piece abroad). Highly recommended.

In 2020 we traveled to Salvador Brazil where Carlos Barbosa was our knowledgable and friendly guide. I had some very specific photos a wanted to take and he understood what I was looking for and where to get them. (Ask him about his ice cream recommendations!) Salvador is a beautiful and historic city made all the better by having a great guide.
