Manuel Jurado was our guide Dec/Jan 2018/19 for ten wonderful, educational, insightful days. We toured  the Paquime Ruins in Nuevo Casas Grandes, a Mata Ortiz factory, the City of Chihuahua (capitol of the state by the same name) , Barrancas de Cobre(Copper Canyon) by train( El Chepe) the city of El Fuerte and it's historical center, then ending at the Sea of Cortez at San Carlos, the southern end of the state of Sonora.

We learned of the flora/fauna and indigenous peoples of each area, along with it's history of wars and conquests by other nations and cultures, including the U.S. !

My lovely wife Cheri, and myself, came away with a better understanding of our southern neighbors. Mr. Jurado is a great ambassador for his country, and the depth of his knowledge was amazing.

His patience with our attempts to communicate with our limited Spanish vocabulary was endless, as was his enduring kindness in answering all of my amaturistic questions that he must have endured from the thousands of "gringos" he's introduced to the grandure of Mexico.

We have traveled extensively, but can clearly state that we have never enjoyed such care and consideration from any other guide. Mr. Jurado made our enjoyment and comfort his first priority, and we are very grateful for his attention!
