I booked Kholoud via Tour HQ some weeks before my arrival in Jeddah.  She always responded to my messages and was the best priced guide on the site. I booked Kholoud for the better price and also because she is a female and I wanted to support the new freedoms for women in Saudi.  Kholoud has her own car and drives.  She is a Jeddah local and knows every area in this vast city.   She also has a business partner named Ali who has his own car and he is very friendly.  I am partially disabled and Kholoud organised a mobility scooter in the areas where we had to walk a lot., for example in Al Balad.  She also made great efforts to park the car nearest to the points of interest, and argued with people to achieve this where needed.  In my view Jeddah is not a city for foreigners (even able bodied ones) to rent a car  because the distances are huge and the standard of driving is really bad.  This is because there are drivers of many different cultures on the road.  Lanes on the road are generally ignored and driving is done judging mainly on how much space is available between cars.  Kholoud also helped us to find a guide in Medinah and when we came back from that city she made herself available again for us with a few hour's notice.  She is also a good photographer, took our pictures on her own phone and sent them to us.  Kholoud, many thanks for your assistance in Jeddah!
