About me
Hello there, my name is Stefan (Steven) and as a professional Tour Guide, you can rest assure that you are in good hands because this is not a job for me nor just a hobby, it is a passion. What makes me the right choice? Well, apart from over 7 years of experience and more tours than I can count I'd have to say it's not the "what" but the "how".Don't get me wrong, you can get to the places with the help of some (if it's just about seeing them) but would you rather have a stranger or a friend share these wonders with you? Do you just want to get there or wish to have the experience revealed to you properly? I'd go with the latter. I have University Studies in Economics, Psychology, Sociology, History and, you've probably figured it out, foreign languages (highly proficient in English, great French and the additional Italian and German (and no stranger to Spanish and Portuguese).Currently studying mandarin but that is going to take a while. I am a certified professional Tour Guide and Travel Manager but I prefer the great outdoors so I went with the first. That's why I design my own tours but I also work with local and international travel companies My passion for traveling is not limited to the Romanian borders, I have visited countries like Italy, UK, Austria, Germany, The Czech Republic, Croatia, Montenegro, Hungary, Slovakia, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Greece, Bulgaria, and Moldova. So, if I recommend something it is truly worth it because my terms of comparison are not just of my country. On a more personal note, I am married to a wonderful woman who stands by me even when I have to go on very long tours that cover the entire country and for that I am grateful. But she knows she cannot take this passion out of me so she supports me all the way. I am a local (even though some have mistaken me for an American - you'll realize why)but, in fact, a child of two worlds, Muntenia and Transylvania so I am accustomed to both. And yes, there are differences. For more about me and my country you'll have to meet me in person, I enjoy the company of each and every guest that I have and promise you won't be disappointed, you will be enchanted. Enjoy Romania!
