The itinerary

Day 01

Marrakech to Imlil and Trek to Toubkal Refuge

You will be picked up from your lodging in Marrakech and driven toward the Imlil Valley, where the trek will begin.
After being greeted by the local team, you will begin your trek in the Aat Mizane valley, heading first toward the village of Aremd, then the Sidi Chamarouch sanctuary, and finally the nearby waterfall.
Continue along the ascending paths to reach the Toubkal refuge, where you will spend the night.

Walking for 4-5 hours.

Day 02

Summit Jbel Toubkal and Return to the Refuge

Get up early in the morning to reach the summit of Jbel Toubkal, the highest point in North Africa. You will need to navigate rocky terrain and cross streams. Join the plateau and pause for a moment to take in the stunning views of the surroundings, including the Marrakesh plain, the High Atlas Mountains in the north, and the Anti-Atlas Mountains and the Sahara in the south.
After leaving the summit, make your way back down the mountain, where you will have lunch and spend the night at the refuge once more.

Day 03

Descend to Imlil and Return to Marrakech

Following breakfast, take the same route back down to the Imlil Valley, where you will have lunch at a guesthouse before being picked up and driven back to Marrakech. Expect 4 to 5 hours on foot, plus 1 hour and 30 minutes by car.
