Itinerary

1. THREE VALLEYS OF THE HIGH ATLAS FROM MARRAKECH

   • Get a pick-up from your hotel at 9 AM for a wonderful day trip to explore the High Atlas Mountains and discover the hidden villages outside Marrakech.

   • Cross the beautiful landscapes of the High Atlas between Berber villages on the hillside and shepherds grazing their flock on the steep slopes Atlas mountains, towards Moulay Brahim. Plateaux and cliffs alternate with deep gorges. Further down, the Kik plateau seems to dig the Atlas and the Agafay desert lets you think of southern Morocco.

   • Throughout the year, the Kik plateau changes seasonally: Brown when farmers plough the land with their mules, white in winter with the snowy peaks of the Atlas, green in spring when barley fields of bright green are dotted with poppies and finally, the yellow in summer that announces the harvests.

   • Continue through the village of Asni along a valley between the mountains of the Toubkal massif to reach Oukaimden, through the road of Ourika valley. Have, the chance to stop to visit women cooperative of argan oil before reaching Ourika Valley or Setti Fadma to start an hour and a half with your Moroccan tour guide.

   • After a guided hike, you will have a delicious lunch in a local restaurant by the river or on a beautiful panoramic terrace.

   • After lunch, drive back to Marrakech.
