Embark on this tour of the Azzaden valley, dubbed as the 'Red Valley' because of the red mountains on either side. Experience the Berber culture and discover how indigenous people live in the mountains.

  • Day 1: Marrakech - Imi Oughlad - Tahliouin Village expand_more
    • Pick-up from your residence, airport, or hotel in Marrakech and depart. Drive through Tahnaout and Moulay Brahim gorges, the site where the popular Hollywood film 'Mission Impossible' was shot. 
    • Reach Imlil and begin trek after meeting with your team and having a cup of tea. Begin the trek by walking through the Ait Lachien Village, going up to Tizi N'tacht, where we'll stop for lunch prepared by our cook.
    • After a short nap, proceed for a 2-hour walk via the Thliouin Red Village to cross Azzaden river, to go to Tizian village where we will spend the night. 
  • Day 2: Tahliouin - Tizi Ntkhrkhort - Tizgui N'tkent expand_more
    • After breakfast, set out with your guide; a new day, new experiences await you. Walk up to Tizi Ntkhrkhort, passing by a small goat shelter, L'azib. Reach the top, and take a break as you munch on nuts and take pictures.
    • Continue your walk in a quiet forest to reach Amlan, a green spot, to have lunch. 
    • Proceed to Tizgui N'tkent village of Berbers for the night.
  • Day 3: Tizgui N'tkent - Tizzi Ntagdalt - Tizzi Oussem expand_more
    • After breakfast, walk up to Tizi Ntagdalt via Azib Angs Nousoul ('Summer Village'), and an economic hub for the people of the village. Stop here to have some nuts and click pictures, enjoying views of the Red Valley of Azzaden
    • Walk downhill to Arro, a shaded spot, to have lunch. Proceed to Tizzi Oussem for the night. 
  • Day 4: Tizzi Oussem - Imlil - Marrakech. expand_more
    • After breakfast, begin your walk from Azzaden towards Imlil, going through Tizzi Mzik.
    • On reaching Imlil, you will have the option to spend the night after exploring the city, or you will get transferred back to your accommodation in Marrakech.
