Explore Imlil (1,740m), the most popular starting point for ascents of the great mountain and for a wide range of less demanding hikes and treks. The summit of Mt Toubkal, offers a selection of more gentle hikes through the picturesque panoramas, mountain passes, valleys, and Berber villages of the High Atlas.

Experience The Beauty Of Asni And Imlil Valley
Departure in the morning from Marrakech in a private day trip to Imlil valley, approximately 65 km south of Marrakech. The main village can be reached by road through the foothills of the High Atlas Mountains.
Arrive at Imlil, situated at the end of the tarmac road and is a natural place to hire mountain guides and mules for onward trekking expeditions. It is a good starting point for a trekking holiday or for climbing Toubkal, the highest mountain in North Africa (4167 metres).
Visit the Asni Berber market. Walk up to the Kasbah and explore the surrounding trails, with superb views along the valley of Riraya. At this point in the mountains, it becomes a true Berber country.
Meet a guide for the hiking or mule riding, or walk through the small High Atlas Mountain village of Aremed. Some parts of the movie - “Seven years in Tibet” were filmed in this village.
Drive back to Marrakech.
