Itinerary

1. Day 1- Arrival in Marrakech

   • Welcome to Morocco- the gorgeous city of Marrakesh, also known as the Red City due to the striking orange-red hues of its architecture. Once you arrive at the airport, your tour leader will welcome you and arrange your transfer to the hotel. The rest of the day is for you to loosen up and explore the city and immerse yourself in the culture that is Marrakesh. 
   • Meet your group and get to know the lay off the land and the scoop on the tour at our 6 pm group meeting.

2. Day 2- Marrakech Sightseeing

   • Inhale and breathe in the fresh air, relaxing into a morning of yoga. Afterwards, join your tour leader for an orientation walk to test the waters by stepping into the past as you visit the nineteenth-century majestic Bahia Palace, widely regarded as one of Marrakesh’s most arresting structures. The palace features 150 rooms that lead to expansive patios and well-kept gardens. 
   • Dig deeper into Morocco’s history by exploring the iconic 12th-century Koutoubia Mosque and its impressive square minaret. 
   • Visit Le Jardin Secret, an elegant castle that dates back to the Saadian Dynasty-it’s structure and stunning gardens are the epitome of Muslim architecture and art.

3. Day 3- Cooking Traditional Moroccan Food

   • Rejuvenate your aura and bask in the serene ambience as you reconnect with your body and try the various yoga poses as the morning gets underway. Relaxed and ready to now begin your memorable cooking class conducted by a local cuisine expert in the beautiful Atlas Mountains. 
   • Learn to cook traditional and ever-so-divine Moroccan dishes, such as couscous and tagine. 
   • In the afternoon, we will take some me time to experience a traditional Hammam session- an ancient way of bathing in which you sit inside a Hammam room to exfoliate and cleanse all impurities from your body. The bath includes a relaxing scrub and light foam massage. Trust us, your overworked body will certainly thank you after the Hammam!

4. Day 4- Agafay Desert Camp

   • Strike your poses with an early yoga session and then head to the expansive, rocky Agafay Desert. As the afternoon gets on taking part in a late, one-of-a-kind yoga session in the desert. 
   • Enjoy an unforgettable sunset camel ride that offers breathtaking views of the sky and horizon, followed by a delicious dinner made up of the local cuisine while enjoying the warmth of a campfire.

5. Day 5- Wine Tasting at Val d'argan

   • Bislama (goodbye) to the Arafay desert and Marhba (welcome) to Essaouira, an old Moroccan City and designated UNESCO World Heritage site in 2001. Essaouira is a loved tourist spot known for its riads and artisan industries. 
   • Visiting the city is akin to peaking from a window into Morocco’s diverse history. Oak, earthy and well-balanced are words you will hear as afternoon activities kick off with a wine tasting at Val d’argan. Sit back, have a few laughs and enjoy a meal in the restaurant.  
   • As the afternoon gets on, head down to the beach to take in the scenic views and an afternoon session of yoga.

6. Day 6- Beach Yoga

   • Breathing in the morning breeze and admiring the calming wave whilst taking in the magnificent views, as you start the day off with a yoga season on the beach. Then saddle up and take your horse out for a ride and head for the beach. 
   • Spend the afternoon at your own leisure, sit back and read a book or try those surf lessons you're always putting off. If thrills and excitement await you then hit the sand dues on four wheels bikes.

7. Day 7- Taghazout

   • Pack your bags after breakfast and head to Taghazout. Even though most tourists visit Taghazout for its surfing adventures and ideal waters, the small yet happening village is perfect for yoga just mere steps from the gorgeous ocean! 
   • You can take in the serene views as you complete your asana poses. Relaxed now and ready to spend the rest of the day as you.

8. Day 8- Yoga in Taghazout

   • Wake up in Taghazout and enjoy your morning yoga. Strengthening your reconnection with your body and soul. The best part about performing yoga in Taghazout is it allows you to connect with nature and your authentic self. Welcome self-reflection into your life while taking in the magnificent views, and spending the rest of the day on the pristine beach. 
   • Explore the local markets or sightseeing by yourself or with your new friends.

9. Day 9- Free Time in Taghazout

   • Delicious local delicacies await at breakfast followed by a calming yoga session surrounded by the beauty of Taghazout and its beaches. Don’t miss out on the opportunity to explore Taghazout by foot and go inland to explore Paradise Valley. 
   • Wander the area, enjoy a meal in the cafe or shop for some memorabilia to take back home.

10. Day 10- Departure

    • It’s time now to bid farewell to your tour leader and new friends but not without a backpack full of memories. Departure transfers are included on the day.

     Check-out time in most hotels is 12 pm. Please confirm with your tour Leader or the hotel reception.
