Day 1: Marrakech to High Atlas Trek to Imi Ouglad to Tizian expand_more
Depart from Marrakech in the morning to the Atlas Mountains via Tahannaout and Asni.
Arrive at Imi Ouglad, the meeting point with the teams (muleteers, cook, etc.).
Start from 1375 m and cross the Imi Ouglad village up the forest to junipers and oaks tree.
Then, arrive at the pass Tachet at 2150 m with good views of Azzaden Valley and Ait Ali Valley.
Spend the night in the Azzaden valley at the guest house after 5 hours of walking.

Day 2: Azzaden Valley to Tizi ‘n Touati to Tizgui expand_more
The path takes you out of the Azzaden Valley and up to the pass of Tizi ‘n Touati, from where there is a majestic panorama of the High Atlas range.
Then descend through a forest of oaks and past villages with stonewalled sheep pens.
Overnight at a guest house in Tekent Tizgui (1850m, 6 hours of walking).

Day 3: Tekent to Pass Tizi n Tougdalte to Tizi Oussem expand_more
Cross the Tizi ‘n Tagoudalte pass (2,700m) from where you have views of the western High Atlas mountain range.
Then, you have a long descent through alpine areas overgrown with wildflowers and herbs and follow a river past terraced fields and groves of walnut trees to the village of Tizi Oussem (1,900m).
Free afternoon to relax or explore the village.

Day 4: Tizi Oussem to Tamssoulet to Tizi n Mzik to Tamatert expand_more
Trek to a small waterfall at Azib Tamsoulte and return to cross the Tizi ‘n Mzik pass (2,489m).
Have a good view from the pass to the whole valley of Ait Maizane down to Imlil and up to your guest house Tamatert (1850 m, 6 hours of walking).

Day 5: Tamtert to Armed to Sidi Chamharouch to Tubakl Refuge expand_more
Gradually ascend the Toubkal Valley, via the pilgrimage hamlet of Sidi Chamarouch, to the Toubkal Refuge (3,207m).
Spend the night at the refuge at the foot of Mt Toubkal. (5/6 hours)

Day 6: Summit Mt Tubkal expand_more
Have an early start for the challenging trek to the summit of Mt Tubkal, the highest mountain in North Africa, at 4,167m.
Return to your refuge for the night. (6 hours)

Day 7: Refuge to Imlil to Marrakech expand_more
The trek ends with an easy descent through the village of Sidi Chamarouch to Imlil.
Bid your Toubkal hike guide and muleteers a fond farewell and drive to Marrakech, where the remainder of the day is free.
