The historic city of Prague is most probably one of the most beautiful in the world. Famously known as the City of a Hundred Spires, the landscape is dramatic, filled with spectacularly crafted buildings and monuments, and of course the Vltava River. The ornately and intricately carved facades of the buildings tell a story of a time in history conjuring up pictures in one’s mind of what life was like, who and what the people were that lived in Prague. The bustling cobbled streets shimmer in the sunlight, worn down from years of wear. Beautifully decorated windows entice one to enter the prestigious boutiques filled with handmade hats, designer wear and finely crafted Czech glassware. Impressive churches and Towers adorn the skyline as one enjoys panoramic vistas of the city of Prague from its oldest bridge, the Charles Bridge. The monumental Prague Castle, the largest medieval castle in the world overlooks the city of Prague in all her splendour. Take a moment of reflection in the exquisite Palace Gardens before heading to the Old town Hall where the Astronomical Clock yet again takes one back in time.
