Tamang heritage trek is very worthy to explore the nature and culture of the local Tamang people and also in this trek you will have a rare chance to bath in natural hotspring in Tatopani, on second day of trekking. After the hiking of Tamang heritage trek, we futher trek up to Kyanjing Valley and hike to 4900m Tsergo Ri or 4700m Kyanjing Ri for the best view of mountains located in the Langtang region.
Tamang Heritage trekking is tea housestyle of trek so you dont need to have intensive preparation for logistics. And the highest altitude to sleep in the entire trekking is 3870 m Kyanjing Gompa and as you have already trekked to Tamang heritage route so until you arrive to Kyanjing Gompa you are well acclimatized, so less likely of having altitude sickness, yet the precautions is always a must during the trekking in the mountains.The physical fitness is a must because the walking is along the rough terrain with lots of up and downhills. Tamang heritage trail is less affected compare to Langtang Valley trekking route by 2015 earthquake. But we believe from the 2016 the trekking will continue in the Langtang valley as well with the expedite reconstruction of local lodges and trails. But trekkers can do Tamang heritage trek only which is 7 days hiking from Syabrubesi and ends at Syabrubesi.
