MAASAI MARA
This is the most famous tourist destination here in Kenya,famous for its concentration of animals and the migration of the wild beest. Maasai mara is located in the Serengeti plain and its always great all the year round.Its climax comes during July, August, September and October when there is the wildbeest migration.This is one of the areas one should not miss in East Africa.
LAKE NAKURU NATIONAL PARK
Lake Nakuru National Park is famous for its Rhino sanctuary which serves as a host for the endangered black and white rhino species .It also hosts millions of Flamingoes but sometimes they migrate to lake bogoria which is also located in the flow of the great Rift Valley.
MT. KENYA
MT.Kenya is located in the central province,it serves as the kenya landmark and all those who make it to the top are subject to issuance of a a certificate.Mt.Kenya requires atleast a minimum of 4 days and more.There are great bandas for resting and engaging a mountain guide and potters is really important. Visit Kenya and trekking Mt. Kenya upto Point Lenana and get yourself a certificate.
ABERDARE NATIONAL PARK, AMBOSELI NATIONAL PARK, SAMBURU NATIONAL PARK
These are also great National parks which are controlled by the Kenya Wildlife Services.Each park is know for its own animals and unique atrtractive feature which cannot be found in any other park. For e.g. Amboseli National Park is known for its views of Mt Kilimanjaro as well as jumbo elephants.Samburu is famous for the Samburu people and their cultural activities.
LAKE NAIVASHA, LAKE BARINGO, LAKE BOGORIA AND LAKE ELEMENTAITA
This lakes are located in the floor of Great Rift Valley province. The 3 lakes are famous and attract tourist while lake elementaita can be view just on the Nakuru-Naivasha road.
