Sandwiched between the rolling oil fields and dusty desert dunes at the heart of the UAE, and the gleaming waters of the Indian Ocean, the city of Fujairah remains one of the country’s more off-the-beaten-track destinations.
That the city is quickly transforming itself into a booming economic behemoth can be seen at it’s Hamad bin Abdullah Road, a picture of a burgeoning Central Business District spiked with shiny new high-rises and awash with construction to boot.
