6-Day Cusco and Machu Picchu Tour with Sacred Valley

• Transfer from Cusco airport to the Sacred Valley of the Incas. A lunchbox will be provided for the journey.

• In the afternoon, visit the impressive Inca site of Ollantaytambo.

• Take the tourist train to Machu Picchu and visit the spectacular citadel of Machu Picchu. A lunchbox will be provided for the journey.

• Later in the afternoon, return to the Sacred Valley by train.

• Set out on a full-day excursion to the Sacred Valley. Visit a unique pottery workshop and the spectacular Inca ruins of Pisac. Take a two-hour hike to the breathtaking site.

• Explore the Indian market, famous for crafts from all over Peru. Return to Cusco in the afternoon.

• Visit the Korikancha, the main temple of the Incas, in the morning. Also see the cathedral, full of syncretic icons such as the famous painting of the 'Last Supper'.

• Finally, visit the artists' quarter of San Blas and the colourful main market of San Pedro.

• In the afternoon, you will be free to stroll the streets of the charming centre of Cusco, famous for its blend of Inca and colonial architecture, at your own leisure.

• Morning excursion to the local Inca ruins of Sacsayhuaman, Q’enqo, Tambomachay, and Puka Pukara. The afternoon is free to relax, visit museums, or go shopping.

• In the evening, enjoy dinner with live music.

• Transfer to the airport in Cusco.
