Day 1: Karatu to Olduvai Gorge, Shifting Sands, Laetoli and Ngorongoro Conservation Area

Meet your safari guide for a short briefing before starting your journey.
Depart by 4x4 vehicle towards the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.
Drive through scenic landscapes and local villages as you ascend the Great Rift Valley escarpment.
Visit Olduvai Gorge Museum and Viewpoint
Explore the Olduvai Gorge Museum, where you will learn about archaeological discoveries made by the Leakey family.
Discover early hominid fossils and stone tools that define this area as the "Cradle of Mankind."
Proceed to the viewpoint overlooking the gorge for a dramatic and informative perspective.
Enjoy a Packed Lunch

Day 2: Ngorongoro Crater Game Drive and Return to Karatu/Arusha
- Wake up early for breakfast at your accommodation.
Descend into the Ngorongoro Crater, the world’s largest intact volcanic caldera and a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Enjoy panoramic views during the descent into the crater floor.
Morning Game Drive in the Ngorongoro Crater
Experience an extensive game drive on the crater floor, renowned for its exceptional concentration of wildlife.
Have opportunities to spot the "Big Five" which includes lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and rhino.
Encounter other wildlife such as wildebeest, zebra, hippos, hyenas, and various bird species.
Picnic Lunch

Afternoon: Return to Karatu/Arusha

Evening: Arrival
Arrive back in Karatu/ Arusha by late afternoon or early evening.
