Know before you go

The Galápagos Islands are a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the most biologically unique destinations on the planet. As part of a strictly protected national park, visitor access is regulated to preserve fragile ecosystems and endemic species. This journey involves moderate physical activity in a tropical marine environment, including boat navigation, snorkelling, and walks across uneven volcanic terrain. Expect a blend of warm and humid coastal conditions with cooler breezes in the highlands. Strong sun exposure is common, and park rules must be strictly followed to ensure both visitor safety and environmental protection.
