Know before you go

To access the cathedral and the terraces, you must pass security checks. Among the things that cannot be brought into the church are food, drinks (water is allowed), objects with sharp blades, and glass or ceramic objects.

To enter the cathedral, it is also required to respect a dress code appropriate for a place of worship. Legs must be covered to the knee, and shoulders must also be covered.

To visit the terraces, you can avoid the stairs by purchasing a ticket for the elevator that takes you to the first level of the roof. To reach the second level and then go back down, completing the tour of the terraces, you must use the stairs both up and down.

The tour is, however, accessible to people with mobility difficulties, with ascent and descent by elevator and a visit to the rear part of the terraces.
