Day 01

Niterói Architecture and Scenic Highlights

• Pick-up at your place in the south or central zone of the city.
• Cross the Rio-Niterói Bridge.
• Enjoy a guided visit along the Niemeyer Path, including the Niemeyer Complex, the Popular Theater, the Roberto Silveira Memorial, and the Oscar Niemeyer Foundation.
• Take a car tour to see three other Oscar Niemeyer projects: Juscelino Kubitschek Square, Niterói Cultural Cinema, and the ferry station.
• Visit the MAC Museum, including the interior of Oscar Niemeyer's most famous project.
• Take a walking tour of Boa Viagem Island, a small island that once functioned as a fort to protect the city.
• Stop for lunch.
• Head to the Mirante Parque da Cidade, simply the most beautiful viewpoint of Rio de Janeiro.
• Drop-off at your place.

Know before you go

• Start time: 8 am.
• My car is a 7-seater SUV and can accommodate 6 passengers, plus me as the driver-guide.
• For tours, I recommend a total of 4 adults and 2 more persons up to 1.60 meters tall in the 2 back seats.
• For more than 4 adults over 1.60 meters, I rent a van with a driver at an extra cost so that the tour is extremely comfortable for everyone.
