Itinerary

Day 1: Manaus to the Amazon Rainforest
- You will be transferred from the hotel to Ceasa Port at 08:00 am.
- We will then take a speedboat to the meeting of the waters (the point where the Negro River and the Solimões River meet).
- Our next stop is the village of Careiro da Várzea on the other side of the river. The entire boat ride takes about 40 minutes.
- At Careiro da Várzea the journey continues by car for about 50 minutes to the River Paraná do Mamori.
- The last part of the journey is by speedboat for about 45 minutes reaching the main base around 11:30 am, where lunch will be served.
- At 02:30 pm, the activities begin. We leave by motorized boat to what will be our campsite for the next few days. You will set up the camp and hammocks for the night. Dinner will be prepared on the fireside.

Day 2: Lago Tracaja
- At 05:30 am, we’ll take a canoe trip to watch the sunrise and get a close-up view of the forest waking up to a new day.
- At 07:00 am, breakfast is served, and then at 08:00 am, we’ll take a walk through the jungle until 11:30 am. During the walk, the guide will explain valuable information about the flora and fauna of the Amazon Rainforest. There is much to be learned about medicinal plants, spiders, and trees, and sometimes there is a chance to spot some monkeys.
- The afternoon activity starts at 3 pm with canoeing in the flooded forest and the small channels. It is a great opportunity to spot some of the local Amazonian wildlife.
- Afterwards, we head back to camp to prepare dinner.
- After dinner, the group leaves by boat to spot Cayman. The guide will catch one by hand, and you will have the opportunity to learn more about this prehistoric animal that makes its home in the Amazon River.
- Then, it’s back to camp for the night.

Day 3: Lago Tracaja
- From 08:00 am to 11:00 am, we will take a hike through the jungle, exploring more of the Amazon and learning what can be used to survive, like fruits and plants. We will also learn about creatures found in the jungle.
- Back to camp to prepare lunch on the fireside.
- In the afternoon, you will leave by boat to another spot to set up a new camp in time to go fishing for some piranhas and other species of fish.
- You will then return to camp and prepare them for dinner.
- After dinner, the group will leave by boat to explore the small channels of the Amazon, looking out for some wildlife that can be found at night in that region using a spotlight.
- Then we return to camp to rest from the day’s activities.

Day 4: Varzea and back to Manaus
- Breakfast is served, and then it’s time to explore the Várzea area of the Amazon. From September to March, this trip is done on foot, and at other times of the year, it will be taken by boat. This region is a great place to spot some wildlife, such as birds, monkeys, and other animals that live in this ecosystem.
- Afterwards, we return to the base for lunch and relax before going back to Manaus.
- At 02:00 pm, we depart and arrive in Manaus at around 04:30 pm.
