Day by day

The itinerary

Day 01

Manaus Departure and Arrival at the Jungle Lodge

Meet your local tour guide at your hotel for pick-up and transfer.
Leave your hotel at 7:00 am to see the confluence of the two rivers.
Return to the car and continue for about 3 hours (104 km from Manaus).
On the way, stop in a small city, where you will see the native market. Then continue by car to the place where you will take a motorized boat to the small and simple lodge.
Upon arrival, receive a welcome drink made from natural fruits.
Lunch at 12:00 pm.
In the afternoon, go on a tour, either camping or the normal tour, by motorized boat to visit a native home. Afterward, return to the lodge, and on the way see the sunset and birds, if the weather is good.
Dinner at 7:30 pm. Free night.

Day 02

Sunrise Tour, Jungle Walk, Waterfall Swim and Night Caiman Spotting

Answer the wake-up call at 5:30 am and leave for an early morning tour, when you may see a beautiful sunrise.

Return for breakfast at 7:30 am.

After breakfast, prepare for your jungle walk. Your guide will explain how to dress and what to take with you.
Learn how to use medicinal plants, how to make souvenirs from palm leaves in the jungle, and enjoy a swim in the waterfall.
Return to the lodge for lunch.
After lunch, at 3:00 pm, leave the lodge by motorized boat to do your first piranha fishing.
See the sunset and return to the lodge for dinner.
Go out in the dark with your guide to spot caimans and observe wildlife at night.

Day 03

Second Jungle Walk, Flooded Forest Canoe Trip and Spear Fishing

Have breakfast at 7:30 am.
At 8:30 am, go with your guides for the second jungle walk, lasting 3 hours, and learn more about the animals and trees.
Return to the lodge for lunch.
At 3:30 pm, go in small wooden canoes to explore the flooded forest.
Return to the lodge and have dinner at 7:30 pm.
After dinner, your guides will take you in the motorized boat and show you how to use a spear to catch fish by using a flashlight.
