Poço Preto Trail and Iguaçu River Hike
- Travel from the Visitor Center to the beginning of the trail by shuttle cars, vans, or buses.
- Hike along the longest trail inside Iguaçu National Park, around 20 km through the middle of the Estacional Semideciduous Forest. It is one of the best places for wildlife watching in Iguazu.
- Arrive at the Iguaçu River, around 15 km upstream from the falls. The Poço Preto path is a very old route once used by the Guaraní people and later served as access to villages before the creation of Iguaçu National Park.
