Monte Sant'Angelo Sanctuary and Junno District Walk
- Starting from the Castle and admiring the so-called Tower of the Giants from the outside, we will reach the Sanctuary developed around a cave where the Archangel Saint Michael appeared to the Bishop of Siponto on several occasions. You will be welcomed by a mystical atmosphere and intense energy.
- A few metres from the Sanctuary, you will see the facade of the Church of Saint Peter, dominated by a pierced canopy depicting four intertwined sirens. Inside is the Baptistry of San Giovanni, known as the "Tomb of Rotari" (606-652), surmounted by a large dome-shaped monument.
- To the right of the entrance to St. Peter's is the atrium that leads to the Church of Santa Maria Maggiore, in Romanesque-Pugliese style.
- Walking through the narrow streets of the Junno district with its whitewashed houses, you will learn about its history.
