Itinerary

1. Day 1: Arrive in Ulaanbaatar and explore the city

   • Arrive in Ulaanbaatar, the capital of Mongolia. Depending on your arrival time, transfer to the hotel, and after breakfast, enjoy a city tour, including Gandan monastery and a visit to the biggest square, Sukhbaatar, which is located in the center of Ulaanbaatar. 
   • Have lunch in a traditional Mongolian restaurant. After that, visit the Natural History Museum and Chinggis Khan Museum, which is famous for its authentic dinosaur skeletons and fossils (Bogd Khan Palace Museum). Then, visit Zaisan Memorial Hill to view the whole city from there. 
   • Have a welcome dinner at a restaurant and stay overnight in a hotel.

2. Day 2: Drive to KharKhorum and enjoy sightseeing

   • Early morning drive to Karakorum and arrive late afternoon. 
   • Visit Erdene Zuu monastery and the great monument of three dynasties. The ancient capital of Mongolia, Karakorum City, was located on the right bank of the Orkhon River and the northeastern slopes of the Khangai Mountain. Founded by Chinggis Khan in 1220, it was the capital of the vast Mongolian Empire and the epicentre of trade along the Silk Road. At that time, the city's inhabitants were mostly merchants and craftsmen from around the world who came to Karakorum. Khubilai Khan moved from the capital of the Mongolian Empire to China, establishing the Yuan Dynasty, and began losing its importance.
   • Stay overnight in Ger at a "munkh suuri"

3. Day 3: Visit Orkhon Waterfall

   • Drive to the waterfall early in the morning after breakfast. On the way to the waterfall, you pass a beautiful landscape and meet horse herders. Water falls from a height of 20 meters at Orkhon Waterfall, locally known as Ulaan Tsutgalan. 
   • Stay overnight in ger camp.

4. Day 4: Drive to Tuvkhun Khiid

   • Today, we drive to Tuvkhun Khiid and visit the Tuvkhun temple. On the peak of the Tuvkhun Uul is the monastery of Tuvkhun. Undur Gegeen Zanabazar erected it. Mongolians erected about ten stone monasteries in the 17th century. 
   • Ride to one of the most beautiful monastery complexes on a forested rocky mountain in the Uvurhangai province. 
   • Spend the night in a Mongolian Ger.

5. Day 5: To tsenkher hot springs

   • After breakfast We drive toTsenkher soum. We stay in ger camp "Altan nutag". 

6. Day 6: Terkhiin tsagaan lake and Taikhar rock

   • Early in the morning drive to Terkhiin tsagaan Lake. On the way we will make a short stop in Tsetserleg capital of Arkhangai . On the way visit Taikhar Rock. Before dinner you transfer to the camp and stay overnight in ger at tourist camp.

7. Day 7:Ugii lake

   • Today we drive to Ugii lake.

     On the way visit to Khushuu Tsaidam memorial complex devoted to Bilge Khan year 716.

     This is the ruin of sacrificing temple where turtle stone monument , stone sheep, lion, stone board with ornaments all together 4000 archaeological items discover in this site.

     Today we reach at ger in Ugii lake.

     We stay in ger camp "khatan ugii" Ugii Nuur lake covers an area of 27 sq. km at 1.387 meters above sea level in Ugii Nuur soum in Arkhangai aimag.The lake fish and birds complement the scenic nature.

     It is a favorite destination for wildlife and ornithological researchers, fishing enthusiasts, and travelers a like

8. Khustai national park.

   • After breakfast we drive to Khustain nuruu national park.

     Khustai National Park is located in Altanbulag Sum, Tuv Province.Khustai has 506 square km area and was established in 1993. The park protects the wild horse “Takhi”, also known as Przewalski’s wild horse in the world, and a bio-diversity of other rare wild animals and plants. The quantity of various ecosystems within the park assures an abundance of wildlife.

     We will visit a small museum of the Takhi and learn about the park and wild horse Takhi. Watch a short documentary film about Khustai National Park, Przewalski’s wild horse and Takhi re-introduction project. /B,L,D/

    

9. Ulaanbaatar (City tour)

   after breakfast we drive to Ulaanbaatar. We watch national concert.

10. Airport

    Transfer to the Airport for the departure home.
