4-Day Sahara Desert Adventure from Fes to Marrakech via Ait Benhaddou

• Get picked up by your Moroccan guide and driver at 8:00 in your riad or hotel in Fes.

• Start your trip across the Middle Atlas to the dunes of Erg Chebbi via Ifrane, Azrou, the cedar forests, and the Ziz Valley gorge. It is an interesting route with great landscapes that offers excellent shots and different scenery for photographers.

• Stop for lunch along the way.

• Then continue to the edge of the Erg Chebbi dunes and ride a camel for 2 hours to enjoy the sunset at 250 m.

• Spend the night in a Berber campsite, where dinner is freshly prepared and served under the stars. After dinner, enjoy time around the fire with some music.

• Start your day driving to the town of Rissani, then continue along the road to one of the biggest canyons in Morocco. The Gorge of Todgha is especially popular among climbers.

• Have lunch and enjoy a walk before continuing to the Gorge of Dades, where nature and colours create an amazing combination.

Stop for the night in a hotel.

• After breakfast, continue to the Valley of the Rose, which blooms in May, taking a rough off-road route to Botghrar. Here, you may stop to visit nomads in caves.

• Then head further through the Valley of the Rose.

• Go to Skoura, where the architecture of the kasbahs spreads beneath the shade of the palms.

• Reach Ouarzazate for lunch.

• Continue to Fint Oasis, where your third night's accommodation is situated.

• Start with a walk in the palm groves of Fint.

• Later, head to Ksar Ait Benhaddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

• After the visit, take the road again following the Ounilla Valley to Telouat.

• Stop to visit the Telouat Kasbah of the Pasha of Marrakech.

• Then cross the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n'Tichka Pass at 2260 m.

• Arrive in Marrakech in the early evening.
