The itinerary

Day 01

Arrival in Casablanca and Journey to Fes

Arrive in Casablanca and travel to Fes via Rabat and Meknes.

Day 02

Explore the Medieval Medina of Fes

After breakfast, visit the Medina of Fez el Bali, the largest medieval site in the world.
Visit Al Medina, declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site, where the souks and alleys have remained unchanged since the Middle Ages.

Day 03

From Fes to Merzouga via Ifrane and Ziz Valley

From Fes, head to Ifrane, the Little Switzerland of Africa. Just outside Ifrane, on the way to Midelt, stop at the famous cedar forests of the Middle Atlas, home to Barbary apes, a species of monkey that can only be seen here and in Gibraltar.
Explore the stunning Ziz Valley, passing through limestone gorges lined with tall date palms and adobe houses.
In the afternoon, arrive at the great Erg Chebbi dunes in Merzouga.
Here, leave the 4x4 behind and ride camels into the heart of the desert, where you will spend the night in a tent.

Day 04

Sunrise in Merzouga and Drive to Ramlia Oasis

Wake early to admire the sunrise over the dunes of Merzouga.
After breakfast, return to the dunes of Erg Chebbi by 4x4 and then drive along the Paris-Dakar Rally track to the Jdaid Ramlia Oasis.

Day 05

From Ramlia Oasis to Todra Gorge and Dades Gorges

After breakfast, drive to Alnif, the starting point for Todra Gorge, surrounded by adobe villages and rugged mountains near the town of Tinehir.
This is one of Morocco's most famous natural sights, with walls about 300 metres high stretching for one kilometre. From here, continue to the Dades Gorge.

Day 06

Dades Valley, Aït Ben Haddou and the Atlas Crossing

After breakfast, depart for the Dades Valley.
En route, pass through the Berber villages of Skoura Boutaghar, located in the heart of the valley of palm trees.
In the afternoon, continue towards Ouarzazate.
Stop at Aït Ben Haddou Ksar, declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Then cross the High Atlas Mountains via Tizi n'Tichka on the way to Marrakech, the city of Arabian Nights.

Day 07

Discover the Cultural Treasures of Marrakesh

After breakfast, visit this city filled with places of unparalleled architectural and cultural value, including the famous, exotic, and frenetic Djemaa el Fna, declared a UNESCO Cultural Heritage site and located at the entrance to the Medina.
