3-Day Moroccan Desert Excursion with Erg Chebbi Camel Bivouac

• Arrival at the guest house in Merzouga village, a charming traditional place that is peacefully quiet and serves local cuisine.

• Rest for a while, then head out for a short walk to explore the area. You can also go to the sand dunes, as the guest house provides direct access to the wide desert.

• After lunch, continue to the bivouac by camel. It takes two hours to cross to Erg Chebbi, where you will witness a beautiful sunset in the middle of the sand dunes.

• Arrive at the bivouac and spend the night under the sky while enjoying dinner.

• Early in the morning, climb a big sand dune to enjoy views of the magical sunrise.

• Return to the bivouac for breakfast with the Moroccan tour guide.

• Return by camel to the guest house.

• After lunch, begin exploring the Tafilalet region, the largest oasis in Morocco.

• Take a tour to discover the following landscapes in the desert:

  • The desert lake.

  • Khamliya village, where you can share and enjoy great moments while listening to Gnaoua music and having tea.

  • Rissani, a town in Errachidia Province in eastern Morocco.

  • Moulay Ali Cherif Mausoleum, located inside the Mosque of Rissani.

  • Erfoud, an oasis town in the Sahara Desert.

Return to Merzouga.

Spend the last night in the guest house.

• After breakfast, take the road to the Atlas High Mountain.
