The itinerary

Day 01

Bulawayo to Great Zimbabwe Ruins Exploration

The tour starts in Bulawayo, where the client is collected from their hotel or other lodgings at 07:00 hrs. Depending on the stoppages, it is a 3-4 hour drive to Great Zimbabwe Ruins.
On arrival, formalities such as paying for admission tickets are carried out before on-site admission. The tour begins by going up and exploring the hill complex while you are still energetic.
At the top, you encounter a sophisticated combination of geometry, physics, and architectural expertise that created the breathtaking giant walls. The hill complex tour will last around 2 hours.
The descent follows a different route, leading to the valley complex and the Shona village.
Exploring the valley and visiting the site museum will take at least another hour, followed by drop-off at the agreed location.

Know before you go

We will travel from Bulawayo to Great Zimbabwe Ruins. Pay the entrance fee before being allowed to access the ruins.
We will explore the hill and valley complexes and a Shona village, where we will be entertained with Shona traditional dances and learn about Shona culture from the people of the village.
We will explore the local museum and will be able to see the relics left behind by the original inhabitants, which show their rich culture and economic activities. That will be the last stop before exiting the ruin premises.
We will then have refreshments or a meal before returning to Bulawayo at around 16:00 hours.
