Description
This is an off-the-beaten-path experience that will allow you to discover the local culture and, most of all, the gastronomy of the area. This tour enables you to walk in the vibrant old Medina, its main historical districts and its food market. Along the way, we will taste different typical Moroccan foods and have a main stop for a traditional lunch.

Meeting Point
We will meet in the famous square of Sour Meegazine, where I will tell you briefly about the International Tangier and get ready for our tasting tour.

Tasting of mint tea and bread with goat cheese
On our first stop of this food tour, we will taste mint tea and Rghayef (a bread made with butter) with some goat cheese.

Visit of the food market and tasting of local olives & Bissara soup
Arrive at the big local market of the M'Sallah neighbourhood, where you will be amazed by the smells of spices, colours of veggies, meets, and fish. We will have two stops to taste local olives and Bissara, a soup made with dry peas, split broad beans and garlic. It's creamy and very delicious.

Juice of mixed fruits
After about 1 hour of walking, we will have a stop in one of the popular shops of Rue Mexique to have a refreshing juice.

Lunch time (fish tagine or chicken skewers)
On lunch time, you can either have a tagine of fish (swordfish, bonito or anchovies), or skewers of kebab and chicken.

Coffee with spices and dates (Majhoul)
Need something sweet after lunch? What about some Moroccan dates? And finally, it's time to finish the tour with a nice cup of coffee with spices (cinnamon, cardamom, gloves, etc.).
