Day 01

Porto Cemeteries and the Lives of Three Poets

We will meet at Quartel General do Porto, Praça da República, 4000 Porto, Portugal.
From there, we will go directly to visit some cemeteries in the city of Porto in search of literary authors and other recognized personalities, as well as authors who are less known to the general public but widely referenced in Porto's inner cultural circle. Along the way, we will also admire the funeral art.
The tour includes visits to Agramonte, Lapa, and Prado do Repouso cemeteries, in the spirit of Paris and Père Lachaise.
At the end of the tour, a reading of poetry by the author in question is also proposed.
