Day 01

From Quito to Baños de Agua Santa and the Avenue of Waterfalls

  • Leave Quito early in the morning. Your guide will pick you up at the hotel and take you to Baños de Agua Santa. The trip takes approximately three and a half hours.
  • Arrive in Baños de Agua Santa and visit the church to learn about its interior architecture and admire the picturesque paintings that tell the stories of the events suffered by local people during the volcanic eruptions in this city. Then continue to the Avenue of Waterfalls to see the Agoyan waterfall. You can also take the tarabita to get to know the Manto de la Novia waterfall. There will be different stops at viewpoints to take pictures and relax with the sound of the water.
  • Continue to the Pailon del Diablo, an impressive waterfall.
  • See the tree house, where the famous End of the World swing is located, and enjoy a fantastic view of the city and the volcano on clear days.
  • Finish the excursion and return to Quito at around 17:00.
