Day 01

Mindo Cloud Forest, Waterfalls and Chocolate Experience

• 08:00 AM: Leave Quito and arrive in Mindo after about an hour's drive.
• Make your first stop at the hummingbird garden to observe how they feed and perform their flight so close to you.
• Visit the waterfalls by following the trail, with a walk of about 1 hour each way.
• Continue to a butterfly farm, where you can observe several species of butterflies.
• If you enjoy adventure, you can do canopy - this activity is optional. It allows you to discover a forest full of flora and fauna from the tops of the trees.
• Learn how chocolate is made, from harvest to dessert, at a chocolate farm, and enjoy this delicious fruit as a dessert.
• 5:00 PM: Return to Quito.
