The itinerary

Day 01

Humantay Lake Trek from Cusco

Your tour guide will pick you up from your hotel at 5:00 a.m. We will board our private van and travel northwest from the city of Cusco to the town of Mollepata. In this small and picturesque town, we will enjoy a well-deserved breakfast to fill us with energy before continuing to Soraypampa, the starting point of our hike, at an elevation of 3,800 meters/12,460 feet.

After a short break, we will begin our journey towards Humantay Lake, surrounded by majestic mountains and valleys. Following an ascent of 1 1/2 to 2 hours, we will reach the lagoon, also known as Laguna Humantay, an incredible and unforgettable shade of deep turquoise with the snow-capped Humantay glacial mountains in the background.

After an explanation from your tour guide and time for souvenir photos, you will have time to enjoy the place before returning to Soraypampa. From there, we will drive for one hour to Mollepata for lunch with beautiful panoramic views of the snow, and then transfer back to the city of Cusco, arriving at approximately 5:00 p.m.
