The itinerary

Day 01

Amman and Jerash Exploration

  • Start from Amman, the capital of Jordan, and drive for an hour north to Jerash, the most well-preserved Roman city in the whole world.

  • Return to Amman.

Overnight in Amman.

Day 02

Madaba, Mount Nebo, Karak and Petra

  • In the morning after breakfast, start from Amman and drive towards the city of Madaba.

  • After one hour of driving, see the old map decorated with mosaic, showing the holy places in Jordan and spotting Israel, Egypt, Lebanon, and Syria.

  • Continue towards Mount Nebo and see the place where Moses died at the top of the mountain.

  • Drive towards Karak for about two hours through the King's Highway, which is very old and interesting.

  • Cross old towns.

  • In Karak, see the Crusader Castle.

  • Drive to Petra.

Overnight in Petra.

Full-Day Petra Tour

  • Spend the whole day in Petra and visit its glorious attractions.

  • Rest in Petra or drive back to Amman.
