Day 01
Quito's Best Viewpoints and Local Flavors
- Early in the morning, we will pick you up from your hotel and head to the first viewpoint, El Panecillo Hill. There, you will admire how Quito sits right in the Andes mountain range and is surrounded by a ring of volcanoes.
- Then, if you are willing to take a few short hikes and enjoy a breathless journey, we will visit the TeleferiQo. Riding the cable car, you will experience the combination of altitude and surrounding natural beauty, making it an amazing vantage point within the city.
- After that, we will go to Itchimbía Park, a must-visit place in Quito, where you can see both parts of the city - the Old Town and modern Quito - and also take amazing pictures at the Crystal Palace.
- Finally, we will go to the traditional neighborhood of San Juan, where you will enjoy the local culture and a unique view of Quito's surroundings. There, we are also going to taste a delicious dessert called quesadilla.
- Then, we will return to your hotel.
