Day 01

Costa Verde - Route from Rio to Angra

Rio to Angra dos Reis. 3 hour travel time.

Angra dos Reis

When we arrive at Angra dos Reis, we go straight to the harbour to take a schooner boat trip through the archipelago of Ilha Grande.

Lagoa Azul

During the boat tour, we stop at this location. You may swim in the most beautiful blue colored water you will ever see.

Ilha de Cataguases

During the boat tour, we stop at this location. The water is very calm, no waves at all and crystal-clear colour.

Ilha Grande

Stop for lunch.

Praia de Japariz

During the boat tour, we stop at this location. Small island inhabited by fishermen with small family restaurants and a dense forest. Ideal place to relax a little bit.

Freguesia de Santana

During the boat tour, we stop at this location. It is where the first settlers started to inhabited in Ilha Grande.

Angra dos Reis

From Angra dos Reis to Rio de Janeiro. 3 hour travel time to return.

Duration of the transfer from Rio to Angra dos Reis: approximately 3 hours.
Duration of the schooner boat trip: approximately 4 hours.
Swimwear, sunglasses, sunscreen and hats are recommended for this tour.
The tour guide will deliver the ticket for the schooner boat trip on the day of the tour. BOARDING INFORMATION: Arrive 15 minutes in advance to avoid any delays. at least 24 hours before the start of the tour to inform location and confirm pickup time. Wait for the tour guide in the place informed on a visible location. Delays may occur due to traffic conditions. Different age policies may apply according to each location. The tour itinerary may change its order on a daily basis due to force majeure. IMPORTANT: During high season and major events, the visitation time on each location can be affected. Take care of your personal belongings as we are not responsible for items left in vehicles and/ or in places visited.
Pickup available for selected hotels in Leblon, Ipanema, Copacabana, Flamengo and Centro. prior to departure to inform the hotel location and to confirm pickup time. Pickup between 6:45am - 8:30am.
