Day 01

European Quarter, Cape Spartel, Hercules Caves, and Kasbah Walk

Drive through the new town to see the European quarter, which was built when Tangier was an international town with special status (1920-1956).
See the residential area called California, where you can spot some celebrity homes and Royal Palaces.
Go to Cape Spartel, the nearest point to Europe, where the Atlantic Ocean and the Mediterranean Sea join together.
Visit the Hercules Caves, a prehistorical site where Hercules allegedly rested during his labours, with an opening in the shape of Africa, and enjoy a camel ride.
Drive to the entrance of the medina, called the Kasbah (old town), for a walking tour to discover the real Tangier with its medieval ramparts and gates, monuments, and magical souks (markets) with your guide.
