Upon arrival at Queen Alia Airport in Amman, you will be welcomed with a Petra Nights Tours sign after you pass through customs.

Early in the morning, drive for two hours from Amman to Gadara (Umm Qais), which belonged to the famous Decapolis, a union of 10 cities founded by Alexander the Great. Here, you will have an overwhelming view over the northern Jordan Valley, the Golan Heights, and the Sea of Galilee.
Continue to Jerash, the best example of a Roman provincial city in the whole Middle East.
Visit the Oval Plaza, the Roman colonnaded street, the Nymphaeum, and the Temple of Artemis.
Your next stop is Ajloun, home to the great 12th-century Islamic castle built around 1184 by the famous Islamic leader Salah al-Din.

Today, start your tour to the Desert Castles in eastern Jordan.
Visit the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Amra Castle, known for its zodiac dome and early examples of Umayyad fresco paintings.
You will also see the fortress-like and mysterious Qasr Kharanah, as well as the black basalt Roman and Medieval Islamic fort at Azraq.
Back in Amman, discover the historical places downtown. Visit the Citadel hill, with remains from the Roman to the early Islamic period, including the Umayyad Palace, and enjoy views over hilly Amman and the Roman Theatre.
Stroll through the Souq, where you can get an idea of everyday life, and continue to Jabal Amman with its distinctive early 20th-century architecture.

Check out from the hotel and drive to Madaba to see the famous 6th-century mosaic map of Palestine in St. George's Church.
Take a short ride to Mt. Nebo and visit the old monastery, overlooking the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and parts of the Holy Land.
At Dead Sea Beach, the lowest point on earth, enjoy leisure time by the shore and the chance to float on the salty waters. Shower and locker rooms are available.
As you drive towards Petra, enjoy the view of Dana Reserve and visit Shobak, the Crusader castle built by King Baldwin I of Jerusalem.

Visit the red rose city of Petra, the biggest attraction in Jordan. You can begin the trip on horseback or on foot through the canyon, the so-called Siq, and then walk to its most beautiful monument, the Treasury. From here, continue to the Street of Facades, the Royal Tombs, and Pharaoh's Castle.

In the morning, drive 1.5 hours south to the protected area of Wadi Rum, one of the most impressive desert landscapes in the world. Here, the Bedouins still live in a traditional way, and during a 4x4 Jeep tour, you will discover canyons, sand dunes, and Nabatean rock inscriptions.
Afterwards, drive back to the capital, Amman.

After breakfast, and with hotel check-out by 12:00 noon at the latest, transfer to Amman Airport depending on your departure time to say farewell and board your flight.
