Munich's Nazi Past and Third Reich Landmarks
- Meet your guide near the Frauenkirche.
- Start at Marienplatz and begin the tour with an introduction to the themes of Nazi history in Munich.
- Visit the former Sterneckerbräu brewery, where the German Workers' Party (DAP) met before transforming into the Nazi Party (NSDAP).
- Stop at the famous Hofbräuhaus, where Hitler delivered his first speech in 1920, propelling him onto the political stage.
- Continue to Feldherrnhalle and Odeonsplatz to learn about their significance during the Nazi regime, including the failed Beer Hall Putsch of 1923 and the various parades, rallies, and meetings held here.
- Walk through the Hofgarten and discuss the Scholl siblings, the White Rose resistance movement, and their opposition to the Nazi regime in this peaceful setting.
