Day by day
Catch the flight at 10:30 a.m. or take the bus journey one day before (8 hours) to Lago Agrio (Nueva Loja).
Drive from Lago Agrio to El Puente.
Take a canoe trip down the Cuyabeno River to the camp.
Go for an exciting night walk.
After breakfast, paddle in a traditional dugout canoe on Caimancocha Lake (Laguna del Caiman) and enjoy nature's uniqueness.
Eat lunch.
Hike in the primary forest and learn about the use of plants for survival.
Relax, swim, and enjoy the sunset on the magnificent Laguna Grande.
In the morning, walk to the Tarapuy Siona Community, where the naturalist Ecuadorian guide will explain the culture and traditions of the native people.
Go piranha fishing in the afternoon.
Head back to the camp.
Go for a night canoe trip in search of caimans (alligators).
Enjoy early morning birdwatching.
After breakfast, go up the Cuyabeno River to El Puente.
Drive to Lago Agrio.
Take the flight or bus journey back to Quito (16 hours).
