Salvador's Lower City and Bay Views

  • Your guide will pick you up at your hotel, and you will drive along the Barra neighbourhood at the mouth of the Bay of All Saints, passing the Fort of Santo Antônio and its lighthouse.
  • From there, continue along Salvador's financial district, which marks the beginning of the Lower City.
  • Upon arriving in the Ribeira neighbourhood, stop to enjoy the beautiful view of the largest bay in Brazil while tasting the city's most famous ice cream.
  • Then continue to the mystical Bomfim Church, where you can tie colourful ribbons while asking for wishes or protection.
  • The next stop is Montserrat and Humaitá for pictures and coconut water. On the way back, drive by the Dique de Tororó to better understand the African influence in Salvador.
