Day 01

Walking Tour of Fes Medina

• Around 10:00 am, your tour guide will meet you in the lobby of your Riad, from where you will begin touring the old Fes Medina.
• Visit the Moulay Idriss Mausoleum in the UNESCO-listed old medina of Fes.
• Proceed to the Nejjarine Fountain, with its attached saqayya, or traditional public fountain.
• Continue to discover Bou Inania Madrasa, as well as the Mosque and University Qaraouiyne.
• See Chouara Tannery, the largest and one of the oldest tanneries in the city.
• Continue through the alleyways that house plenty of merchants and craftsmen with their products.
• Once the tour is over, return to your hotel or Riad.
