Explore the beauty of Škofja Loka
- Meet the guide at the Skofja Loka Bus Station and go to the castle plateau, where the guide will show you a typical house from the Middle Ages and the splendid surrounding views.
- You will then head down to the town square to marvel at the beautiful architecture and listen to intriguing stories from the past. The town has two main squares, Main Square and Lower Square, with an African man on its coat of arms. The town hosts a famous Passion Play every six years, depicting the life of Jesus Christ.
- The guide will then introduce you to the perfect blend of Gothic and Baroque architectural styles - the Church of Saint Jacob, designed by Jožef Plečnik.
- Finally, after appreciating the lavish interior of the church, you will go to the oldest bridge in Slovenia, with a statue of St. John the Nepomuk, the protector of bridges in Europe.
