Scenic Walk to the Eye-Catching Sites of Hamburg
- At the beginning of this tour, we will explore a large part of the 'old city' and enjoy the view of Alster Lake with touristic ferries and swans that became the city's icons.
- Afterwards, see the street of the millionaires— Jungfernstieg— and get closer to Rathaus (Town Hall) and its hidden yard with a beautiful Italian fountain.
- Hamburg is well-known for its Gothic churches, so we will look at the grand church of St. Nikolai, which holds secrets about World War II. If we have enough time, the guide will take you to the harbour area to admire Speicherstadt (the oldest and the biggest storehouses in Europe) and narrow canals and behold the modern port with its cruise liners, ferries, docks, shipyards and cargo ships.
- If there is no queue, you can observe the city from the observation deck in Elbphilharmonie (innovative Philharmonic). Historical, social, fun facts, intriguing stories and active conversation will accompany our promenade.
