From the Watertower to Mannheimer Schloss and Mannheim Castle
- We start at the landmark of Mannheim, the beautiful Watertower. After a brief history of why that tower is so important to Mannheim and why Mannheim is so important to the rest of the entire world, we will take five minutes to walk into the main city. Alongside that, we will encounter fountains, museums, a concert hall, and many restaurants, bars, and cafés that potentially could be of interest to you. The guide will tell you which hotel, bar or restaurant would be the best for your needs and explain where you will find anything in this city for whatever reason you are following. We will also stand above a bunker, you noticing it, which served as protection in World War II. It is a very big bunker in the city centre.
- Then the guide will show you their famous and beautiful “Little Istanbul” subculture. You will feel like being on holiday in Turkey for the next five minutes.
- Mannheim Castle, Europe's second-largest Baroque castle after Versailles, is a really magnificent site with luxurious quarters inside. This is the ideal Castle for anyone who wants to be astonished by the majesty of Court life in the past. The splendour of the magnificent Castle will be remembered long in memory, from the very big main staircase to the exquisite fresco ceilings, wonderful chandeliers, and amazing wall tapestries.
- From there, the guide will show you their main library and a beautiful church near the end of the tour.
